Blue mood - Weekend purchases

Definitely in a 'blue' kind of mood this weekend, whether it be personally or fashionably...

Treated myself this weekend to a couple of bits from the high street and perfect timing too! All the summer fashion has been thrown into sale prices due to the horrible last few weeks we have had in terms of weather and I will admit, I have been living in my winter jumpers and woolies (thoroughly depressed in them too) so as soon as Mr (or Mrs) Sunshine came out and greeted us yesterday, I knew I had to get some lighter clothes!

So what did I treat myself to?

Clothes:

A new French Connection dress - Coralie Jersey. They had quite of few of these on sale in different colours and patterns. Definitely have the 'Middleton' look to them. I love FCUK and I love them even more when they have their wonderful sales as I can't bring myself to pay full price for their clothes (even eBay struggles me sometimes!). Rocking this dress today at work today and already had lots of compliments!

Shoes:


THREE PAIRS OF SHOES FOR UNDER £20, yes, yes you read that correctly! As I mentioned above, because of the awful weather, all pretty sandals, flipflops and wedges have been put into sale. I cannot begin to describe how busy the shoe department of New Look was yesterday morning. I think everyone had the same idea. I came out with the below as well as another pair of sandals with cream pearls over the toes (couldn't find a picture on the website):

Make up:

Bought my first Essie nail varnish. Read blog posts about the brand all the time so thought I would give it a go. I went for one of their new colours, 'bikini so teeny'

Thoughts? I only had to apply two coats to get a nice solid colour. I've had it on about 36 hours and there's already chippy and fading but I haven't applied a top coat so I will be giving it the benefit of doubt because of that. Lovely colour though. Bright and perfect for this sunny weather!

So those were my main purchases for the weekend! Not much but I am trying to save money to move out before the end of the year.
