Birthday competition!

Hi all!

So, I feel as it is my birthday tomorrow, I should something a little special on here for the occasion!

A couple of weeks ago, I was incredibly lucky to attend the PixiGlow launch in London. Have a nosy at my blog about the event if you haven't see it/know much about the brand itself.

Anywho, I feel the goody bag we received upon attending should be given a new home! The items include:

  • PixiGlow face palette
  • Magic Tink Tint
  • Straight on Till Morning liner
  • Catching Shadows crayon
  • 408 Pirouette Pink nail varnish

The liner, tint and crayon have been used one, I repeat ONCE on my hand to see the colours.

So how do you win? Follow me on twitter - twitter.com/rachellecs and my blog too and leave a comment on this blog with your must have beauty/make up tip! Mine? Heating your eyelash curlers with your hairdryer for a few seconds to give you a lasting big eyelash curl for the day ahead :)

I will pick the winner at Monday 19th March 6.00pm (the end of my birthday weekend :) )

Rach :)

  1. Hey great giveaway enter me please.

My best tip is to team mascaras. I use one to apply the product and another mascara just to brush out the hairs. =D

  4. Hi :)
    Happy Birthday for tomorrow!
    I would like to enter.
I followed you on twitter and GFC.
    My beauty tip is:
For super smooth lips, brush them whilst brushing your teeth. It will exfoliate them as well as improving circulation!

  5. Hey, happy birthday :D All the best wishes for the upcoming year :) My tip? Stay natural, stay yourself! No matter what is fashionable - first think if it really suits you & if you want to be this way. As long as you're happy in the make-up, keep it and be beautiful! But as soon as you feel like in skin of a stranger, don't use it! :D Be yourself, because you're beautiful :)
and the 2nd tip: as soon as your reach your home, remove your make up! Your skin is going to appreciate it :)

  6. I've just remembered a nice beauty tip for unfresh hair - on the days when I'm missing my dry shampoo I take a cosmetic pad with make up remover/toner for oily skin. After applying it to the most dirty parts of my hair, I dry my hair with a blow-dryer :) ready to go!

no more puffy eyes-Keep your eye make up remover in the fridge. The cooled liquid will reduce puffiness as your remove your make up :)

  8. Hiya! Huuge happy birthday, hope you have a fab fun day! These goodies look great...I was so gutted I couldnt make it to the Pixi launch but I went to the store a couple days later and was actually really impressed with the products.

My beauty tip/revelation (lol) of 2012 is sugar scrubs!! I bought one in the sales and I just cant beleive how amazing they are and how I have lived without them! Exfoliate your skin with a sugar scrub once a week and your skin will be sooo soft and lovely! x

  9. Happy Birthday hun, hope you are having a fantastic day and have been really spoiled this weekend :)

My top beauty tip is always have a small pot of make up remover and a few cotton buds in your bag. If you have a make up mishap, like smudging your mascara just before a meeting or on a night out, you can quickly fix it without having to start over again.

My makeup tip would be, to rub vaseline around your hairline when you're dying your hair at home so that your skin doesn't get stained.
Another one, putting a drop of nail varnish remover into gloopy nail varnishes to give them a new lease of life (you have to store them in the fridge then though)

    Thanks xx

  11. :) great giveaway hun :) happy birthday
If your normal makeup remover is not 100% removing your waterproof mascara use Baby oil and that will take every bit off
