Sunshine has finally arrived in good old England. I am *touches wood* fairly lucky with my skin. Apart from a little dryness when it gets cold, I have clear skin. I use foundation to give myself a little more colour on my face. It does get a little sensitive as I am allergic to Petroleum and I have been known to have small reactions to make up so I am careful with what I pick (and what I would recommend on my blog)
Last year I was sold on the Garnier BB cream and I still think it is a great product for the cost. After experimenting with new make up over the winter period, I have become more aware of picking the right colour for my face. Because it is quite pale, anything too bronzed just looks silly!
Enter two new products for the summer ... NARS tinted Moisturiser and L'Oreal Lumi Magique. Completely different ends of the price range but both do the job needed for this summer.
NARS Tinted Moisturiser
The NARS tinted moisturiser is perfect for during the day. It is light on the skin but gives enough colour and coverage to look like you have a little bit of make up on. I love the smell of this too! Usually tinted moisturisers can be a little peculiar with scents but this one is a nice citrus smell.
Problem with this is that it does not last long on my face and usually requires reapplication in the afternoon. I don't have to time to do it so I end up leaving the office looking like I would when I wake up, rough and pale. That is a little disappointing.
At a cost of £28, there may be other more cost effective tinted moisturisers out there but this one feels good quality on the skin and gives a natural glow to the face.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique
I find the L'Oreal foundation to best to wear during the evening. Compared with Lancome, it is a fair lighter consistency but gives the same amount of coverage. What I loved more about this range was that there was a great choice of colours to suit everyone's skin.
Price wise, it is £10.99 but there is always a discount or deal on the high street or supermarket so if you do buy this at full price, you are a silly billy :)
